Lee Transfer Station
The Swap Shop is in need of a volunteer to help fill out the schedule.  We have always had a great group of people that see the benefit to the town and the townspeople, and are willing to volunteer a little of their time to make it work.  The commitments are usually for three to four hours and the understanding the importance of being reliable. If you think you might be interested, please call the coordinator, Georgia Kerns at 247-2757. We also need a person for part-time per-diem, or someone who is on call to come in as needed to cover for vacations, sick days, or when staff is away for training or meetings.  This is a hired position, but with no guaranteed hours.  Apply at the Transfer Station.

Lee Volunteer Needed
A volunteer from Lee is needed to serve on the Long Range Planning Committee for the Oyster River School District.  The committee’s only job is to provide the School Board annually with an updated ten-year enrollment projection by grade level.  The work usually is done in the Fall and the member can expect to attend about 5 one-hour evening meetings per year and possibly do some work between meetings.  Some knowledge of demographics, statistics, and/or computer modeling (Excel) is preferable but not absolutely necessary.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Allison, LRPC chair.  lisaallison@comcast.net.
